RULES & REGULATIONS IN SPRINGDALE

LIBRARY RULES:

  • Students are not allowed to bring their belongings except pen /pencil and a note book.
  • Perfect discipline and order must be maintained in the library and reading room. No student shall engage themselves in audible conversation.
  • Students can select one book at a time from any section and not disturb the sequence of books.
  • Students are expected to handle the books with utmost care. Dog-earing, scribbling, mutilating or removal of illustrations will be severely dealt with.
  • The library books are issued for a period of seven days. The book maybe renewed if required or else the students are liable for a fine if not returned on the due date.
  • Reference books, journals, magazines and newspapers are meant for reading in library only.
  • Any book lost has to be replaced or fine will be charged as per as the present cost of the book.
  • The library will remain open on all working days.

TRANSPORT RULES:

  • The use of School transport is a privilege and not a right.
  • The transport In-charge should be intimated with any change of address to avoid inconvenience.
  • Students must reach to their designated stops before time .Bus will not wait for the students who are late.
  • Students must board the bus and alight from the bus in a queue.
  • Students are not supposed to roam in the moving bus, and liter around in and out of the bus.
  • No student should lean out of the bus window or put his/her head out under any conditions.
  • Complaints from parents regarding the school transport should be brought to the notice of authorities in writing.
  • The bus fee is liable to be modified from time to time depending upon fuel costs.
  • Whosoever wishes to change the assigned route can avail by seeking a written permission from the Principal on valid reasons, provided the bus ply's through the same route.

RULES OF DISCIPLINE:

The school community expects that students will:

  • Show pride in their Alma Mater with a sense of belonging and adopt an exemplary behaviour in and outside the School.
  • Behave in proper, cordial and acceptable manner. Any objectionable act or use of foul languages is liable for disciplinary action.
  • Take care of School property and maintain cleanliness of the classroom in particular. Students will be charged for any damage if done by them.
  • Not to bring any objectionable books, CD's, magazines or periodicals to the school. The use of mobile phones, pagers, laptops or other electronic gadgets are prohibited.
  • Regular attendance is expected from all students. A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for promotion.
  • Students should not indulge in bullying, ragging and any violent activities.
  • No student should leave the school campus without prior permission from Principal / Vice-Principal / Supervisor / Concerned Class Teachers.
  • Strict disciplinary action will be taken for any misconduct or misbehaviour which may result in suspension from the school

PARENTS PLEASE NOTE:

  • Check the school diary regularly as it forms the link between the school and the parents.
  • Respond to the messages, Progress reports and any information when requested to do so.
  • Ensure that children are provided with prescribed books, uniforms and other accessories as required.
  • Ensure children come to school regularly and send leave application for a student's absence duly signed either before the leave or when the child joins after leave. (Medical leave should be accompanied by medical certificate)
  • Keep constant supervision of the academic and co-curricular progress of the child and meet the concerned teachers whenever necessary.
  • Fees and other school dues are paid before due date.
  • Students suffering from infections or contagious diseases like chicken-pox, mumps, conjunctivitis etc should not be sent to the school.
  • Co-operate with the school fraternity for the smooth running of the school.
